EBG Engineering, LLC, (EBG) in the News in 2011 and 2010...
December 2011 – EBG is expanding: starting January 1, 2012, EBG Engineering will have offices in Dallas and Fort Worth to meet your design and construction needs. Our Fort Worth office is conveniently located northeast of 35W and NE Loop 820 near the Golf Club at Fossil Creek.
November 2011 – A new server! Everyone in house is excited about our internal IT upgrades. We're also heightening our search for office space in the City of Fort Worth. EBG continues to expand by welcoming two new employees to our survey department.
October 2011 – EBG continues to develop its municipal resume. We're building our relationships with the City of Arlington, City of Grand Prairie, City of Carrollton, City of Dallas and City of Fort Worth. The EBG team was awarded a Rush Creek Watershed by the City of Arlington as a part of a team with Dewberry.
August 2011 – Our survey department continues to present quality work at reasonable prices. We're involved in projects spanning the Metroplex. Teamed with Brown and Gay, EBG was awarded the survey work for the flood modeling work on Lower Dudley in Carrollton.
July 2011 – EBG receives recertification from NCTRCA as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) in Texas! Certificate number WFWB49928N0712.
July 2011 – EBG Engineering begins participation in the IPL (Integrated Pipeline) Project between TRWD (Tarrant Regional Water District) and DWU (Dallas Water Utilities). The IPL Project consists of a proposed 108-inch, 150-mile water line from Lake Palestine to Kennedale Branch Reservoir in Texas with four (4) proposed pump stations. EBG's efforts are as part of the project management team working under AECOM.
June 27, 2011 – EBG hires Brent E. Lewis to head up our Civil Engineering Department. Brent brings 15 years experience in municipal infrastructure design to our team. He will also manage our soon to be established Fort Worth office.

March 2011 – EBG receives recertification from WBENC and WBC-SW as a nationally recognized Women's Business Enterprise (WBE). Our WBE certificate number is 2005115789.
January 2011 – A new year!! EBG Engineering is excited to continue the momentum created in 2010.
2010 Summary - Emily and Jared Bratz reached an agreement with Raymond L. Goodson Jr., Inc., (RLG) to form a woman owned business capable of providing Civil, Structural, Surveying, and IPD Engineering services. The name EBG Engineering was chosen to recognize the combined ownership by Emily G. Bratz, Jared W. Bratz, and RLG. Majority ownership resides with Emily G. Bratz, President and CEO of the firm, while minor percentages are owned by her spouse, Jared W. Bratz, P.E., Chief Operating Officer and RLG. RLG's membership is represented by David M. Goodson, P.E., Vice President, Structural Division. Mr. Goodson also serves as President and CEO of Raymond L. Goodson Jr., Inc.
The relationship between Emily G. Bratz, Jared W. Bratz, and RLG spans many years. Earlier in Jared's career, he performed as Senior Project Manager of RLG's Civil Engineering Division. As a result, EBG and RLG have a comfortable working relationship and knowledge of production capabilities. Each are familiar with the high standards, commitment to quality, and service professionalism demanded.
EBG has successfully registered with the Secretary of State of Texas and the Texas State Engineering Board (firm no. F-12218). It has completed self-certification through the Central Contractor Registration of the Small Business Administration as a Disadvantaged Woman Owned Business.
